WHERE TO STAY?

 

There are a lot of hotels, inns and rental homes options to stay in Key West. We chose the Westin Key West Resort & Marina. It was the best choice. The resort is located in Old Town, on waterfront, one block from fabled Duval St and next to the famous Mallory Square. And the best part is that you can watch the famous Sunset Celebration from the balcony of your room!

The pool is very nice and throughout the day are offered fruits, ice cream and moistened wipes!

Its brunch at Bistro 245 offers the island’s largest buffet selection. Hmmmm yummy!

 

There you can dining on the Westin Pier during the nightly Sunset Celebration and a 10 mi launch ride to the island of Sunset Key for a meal at Latitudes, which will leave you captivated from the moment you board the boat. I’ll do a post about this amazing restaurant after.

 

As was 4th of July when we were there, we were able to take advantage of the Fireworks Celebration on the hotel's pier with a privileged view.  And as was my Birthday, it wouldn’t get better than this.

The Westin has won my heart, whenever I go to Key West I'm going to stay there.
