OH, THE PLACES YOU’LL GO! - BABY ARTHUR’S ROOM INSPIRATION!

You have asked a lot, where did the inspiration come for Baby Arthur's room. So, I'm going to tell you a little in this post!

Needless to say, everything has been designed with a lot of love by Andrei and I. And, we ended up by the theme, starting from one of the many teachings, we want to pass to Arthur: we want him to be a Global Citizen. A free and open minded person, without prejudices, open to know and respect different cultures and, with a huge desire to make a difference. But, how to give a playful atmosphere to all of this? Nothing better to fly around the world in a hot air balloon.

And, the idea matched very well with us, because it refers to our visual identity, created by Saimon, from Papetier, I shall speak of him in another post! And, the one of the most amazing experiences of our lives: our hot air balloon flight in Cappadocia, in Turkey. For those who don't remember, I wrote about that experience here!

With the theme set, we set off in search of wallpaper, centerpiece of his room decor! That's when I came across the Murals Wallpaper. A British company, based in Liverpool and known for your high quality and unique designs. Among so many beautiful and exclusive options, they had the perfect for Arthur’s room. A colorful world map, showing the fauna, flora and characteristics peculiar to each region and, with the flying hot air balloons around this world! It was love at first sight! I contacted their customer service to see if they delivered in Miami! And they, as well as make, deliver around the world and super fast! About two weeks between production, shipment and receiving. Not to mention it arrived perfect! Super well packed, with all the installation instructions and everything else!

We prefer to hire a professional to install, but who has that kind of ability, can do by yourself.

The result is in the pictures below! We utterly love it, and we're really thinking about to choose other models to decor other rooms of the house.

Vocês têm perguntado bastante, de onde veio a inspiração para o quartinho do Arthur. então, vou contar um pouco nesse post!

Nem preciso dizer que, tudo foi pensado com muito amor por mim e pelo Andrei. E, chegamos ao tema, partindo de um dos tantos ensinamentos, que queremos passar ao Arthur: queremos que ele seja um cidadão do mundo. Uma pessoa livre, mente aberta, sem preconceitos, aberta a conhecer e respeitar culturas diferentes e, com uma enorme vontade de fazer a diferença. Mas, como dar um ar lúdico a tudo isso? Nada melhor que voar pelo mundo num balão!

E, a ideia casou muito bem conosco, pois remete à nossa identidade visual, criada pelo Saimon, da Papetier, que falarei dele em outro post! E, remete a uma das experiências mais incríveis da nossa vida: nosso vôo de balão pela Capadócia, na Turquia. Para quem não lembra, escrevi sobre essa experiência aqui!

Com o tema definido, partimos em busca do papel de parede, peça principal da decoração do quartinho dele! Foi aí que descobri a Murals Wallpaper. Um mapa mundi, com um colorido discreto, mostrando a fauna, flora e características peculiares a cada região e, com os balões voando ao redor de mundo! Foi amor à primeira vista! Entrei em contato com o customer service deles, para saber se entregavam em Miami! E eles, além de fazerem sob medida, entregam mundo afora e super rápido! Cerca de duas semanas entre produção, envio e recebimento! Sem falar que chegou perfeito! Super bem embalado, com as instruções de instalação e tudo o mais!

Nós preferimos contratar um profissional para instalar, mas para quem tem esse tipo de habilidade, pode fazer sozinho sim!
