TRÈS CHIC, TRÈS CHANEL

Ahhh Paris... the city that breathes fashion! For me, the best fashion of all is Paris Fashion Week! Especially when it presents the autumn/winter collection!
After all, there's nothing more glamorous than spending a winter dressed by Chanel in Paris! C’est sublime!
Speaking of Chanel, which was the scene of the maison's show at #PFW? Karl Lagerfeld transformed Grand Palais in to nothing less than a charming French brasserie - Brasserie Gabrielle! I was speechless!
While waiters served croissants and coffee, models strutted showing Maison's autumn/winter 2015/16 collection among the guests!
Food plus fashion, how much “Frencher” could you get? It could only be Karl! It could only be Chanel!
With Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner in the cast, and playful French cafe designs and prints the collection highlights - to our joy - everyday wearability. That means you could wear this clothes at lunch or at dinner. The skirts wrap and tie, resembling the old-fashioned aprons still worn by some French waiters. There were even some that looked as though they had been created from folded-up bistro napkins.
And, for the first time, Karl revived the classic shoes that Mademoiselle Chanel used daily. The two-tone pump was the only style of shoe on the catwalk.
The famous and classic Camellia Boutonniere was recreated as a doll-size place setting of stacked plates. The suit-dresses appeared in knit, the intarsia patterns suggesting a cardigan jacket and an A-line skirt.
Karl, also introduced the newest Chanel Bag - The Girl!
So, below are some of my top picks!
