From September 4th up to 8 happened the famous design and architecture’s tradeshow Maison & Objets Paris.

For those who doesn’t know, this event is very traditional in Paris and every year brings together well-known names in architecture and design in the world to introduce the industry trends. And the coolest thing is that the organization of the show decided to expand it to other continents. We had this year the second edition of Maison Objet Singapore and the Americas Edition, in Miami Beach (I'm very excited to be there next year's edition).

So, back to the Paris edition (aah Paris ...), the chosen as Designer of the Year in this issue was the renowned French designer Dorothée Meilichzon, CHZON Office. Her work is always amazing! She is specialist in interior design for hotels, bars and restaurants, places of hospitality as she sets. She seeks to create places with a real personality, environments that invite people to change and make discoveries. And she also gets to create different atmospheres for the same space, so the regulars can have unique experiences enjoying a coffee or a drink. And the best, most of her pieces are found in antique shops, thrift stores and on the web. Who was on the first day of the tradeshow was able to learn a little bit about her work during a press conference.

Can’t wait for the Americas Edition, next year from May 10 up to May 13, in Miami Beach!
