8 MAIN FASHION TRENDS FOR FALL/WINTER 2016 - 2017

The main fashion weeks in the world, have already showed their collections, with the grand finale, as always, in Paris (my favorite Fashion Week)!
So, today, I show you 8 trends for fall/winter 2016-2017. Let's prepare our wardrobe!
SLEEPWEAR & SLEEP DRESS
Pyjamas all day is a new style aspiration, as designers twisted and modernized a classic into ready-to-wear. Cut from the finest silks, finished with piping or Japanese motifs, next summer's reinterpretation of the pyjama brings sleepwear out of the bedroom in what will be more than a fashion reverie. Etro, Lowe, Dolce & Gabbana bet in it.

LINGERIE DETAILS
The biggest trend of the season, lingerie accents were all over the runways. Think sheer textures, lace, silks and satins that skim the body to lay sensuality bare vintage details. We going to find it at Givenchy, Cèline, Balenciaga.

MILITARY KHAKI
Uniform styling made a big comeback during the collections, with military design codes reinterpreted for the girls mainly in khaki, at Anthony Vaccarello, Céline and Versace, collections.

SHEER
With Maison Margiela, Dior and Miu Miu all jumping on transparency, designers showed once again how to play with the art of suggestion through subtly worked sheer textures and peekaboo cuts that left just enough to the imagination.

SILVER
Whether it's mirror effects and light-reflecting glass shards at Loewe, a shower of iridescent crystals at Chanel or galactic leathers at Courrèges, expect to invest in metallic silver next summer.

TRIBAL MOTIFS
Inspired by far-off lands, ancestral rituals and folk art, the tribal trend exploded on the catwalk in a mash-up of ethnic prints, mineral and black & white colors. Valentino and Isabel Marant bet in it.

RED
Patent, lacquered, scarlet, matte or silky, red is hands down the color of the season and set to raise the temperature next summer.
As showed by Fendi and Hermès.

JUMPSUIT (I utterly love! It’s always fashion and elegant.)
From Isabel Marant's sunny new reworking, to a more androgynous version at Louis Vuitton via Ralph Lauren's polished uptown girl, the jumpsuit is sticking around for next summer. Wear loose or skinny-belted.
