DOLORES, BUT YOU CAN CALL ME LOLITA!
In a 1923 building, where was once a Fire Station, today gives away to Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita. This singular restaurant is located in the heart of Brickell’s Financial District and offers a selection of International Fusion Cuisine!
The downstairs area, is called “Lolita”. It is like a night lounge, with VIP areas and international music.
The restaurant has a very charming indoor dining area with candles, flowers and phrases on the walls, and a rooftop dining area, with an amazing panoramic view of the Miami’s skyline. These two spaces are called, “Dolores"!
The place is quite nice! We sat on the rooftop to enjoy the view.
The first thing that you find when you get on the table is a place to leave your mobile! I loved! So you can enjoy the atmosphere and your company.
The menu is described in a way that stimulates our curiosity about the dish. Andrei chose for the appetizer Serrano Ham Croquettes, that promised to be “Maybe the best Serrano Ham Croquettes, You Have Ever Tasted”! And really, it was very good!
I chose an Eggplant Timbales, with smoked mozzarella and pesto. OMG, yummy!
For the main course, I chose the Shrimp Scampi, and it was pretty delicious! Andrei had the Dolores Back Ribs, and it came with a pair of gloves!
All this watered to a good wine!
We like the place! The impression was very good, but next time, we'll sit indoor, because we found a little noisy outside!
